I'm having problems trying to set up a second monitor to my iMac (MB950 A1311). The LG monitor doesn't provide an image, it just has a pop up referencing dual smart solution. The dual smart solution is for PCs. I'm using a minidiplay port to DVI adapter. I've enabled a second monitor via the settings as a extended monitor. It appears Apple recognizes there is a monitor, as I'm able to move my mouse over in the area - just can't see an image. The LG monitor is a model: 27EA31V-B. Please tell me I can get this to work. I need the screen real estate for my home business. And I've already purchased the monitor. Thanks

The new solution enables media publishers to develop rich content apps for the iPhone and iPad that simultaneously control content, data and information presented on an HDTV while displaying synchronized content on the iPad or iPhone. The unique dual-screen solution leverages Apple's AirPlay technology, which allows viewers to use applications that simultaneously present content, interactive options and data on both the touch device and an Apple TV.
